Hey, I'm Jen!

Let's face it - just like we can't drink our faces off and party until the wee hours of the morning like we did in our twenties, we also can't workout like we did then.

Our peri/menopausal bodies are different now and need different types of exercise.

If you’re like me, you assumed hours of cardio would get you the body you were after.

I used to spend 20 minutes on the elliptical then 20 on the stepmill then 20 on the treadmill.

Good times! 🤣

I never really touched a dumbbell unless it was to do a few biceps curls or overhead triceps thingies.

Cardio and spot training – that’s all I did for years.

It wasn’t until I was 35 and had gained some weight after a cross-country move that I finally said “enough” and hired a personal trainer to show me how to workout properly – and with actual weights!

I was never an athlete unless you consider it athletic to stand in the back part of a soccer field and half ass attempt to run after the ball.  I was usually picked last in school team sports. After the girl on crutches.

None of this weightlifting stuff came easy to me.

It was hard and often frustrating, but I stuck with it and eventually started to see some strength gains.

I found that I was capable of doing a lot more than I ever thought I could do, like push-ups on my toes!

After a few conversations with my trainer, he convinced me that I wasn’t too old at 36(!) to get certified as a personal trainer.

I wanted to help other women gain the confidence to do hard things.

And now after 13 years coaching hundreds of women and witnessing amazing transformations both physical and mental, I fully believe that fitness can change your life for the better.

You are never too old, busy, or weak to start your fitness journey. I’m excited to help you transform your life.
